FREE LANGUAGE SKILLS ASSESSMENT


Apostrophe Kids “Language” is an enriched program that is designed to expand students' foundation in Language Arts. To be successful, students must be achieving grade level or higher in Language Arts. The entrance interview and assessment is approximately 20 minutes in length and will include a spelling quiz and a reading passage with a written component to determine comprehension and written skills. This assessment allows us to better understand your child and their skills entering the program in spelling, reading, writing and oral communication. The goal of this program is to build on their strengths and develop the areas that need improvement. 

 


FREE MATH SKILLS ASSESSMENT


Apostrophe Kids “Math” is an enriched program that is designed to offer a greater depth in students’ knowledge of Math. To be successful, students must be achieving grade level or higher in Math. The entrance interview and assessment is approximately 20 minutes in length and will include 4 critical-thinking questions and a drill. This assessment allows us to better understand your child and their problem-solving skills. The goal of this program is to build on their strengths and develop a wider range of mathematical thinking. In addition, to encourage them to test their skills in math competitions available throughout the year.
